I wanted to create an in your face, high gain Mesa Boogie modern sound that had presence to it... not too "muffled" sounding like allot of amp models get. I wanted it to really sound ALIVE, and I hope I you like it! It sounds KILLER on my monitors! I find it really responsive, and I cannot stop playing it right now! |

My Budda has a lot of the same characteristics as Warren Haynes SLO, so I gave that a shot. That patch is labeled "Mike's SLO" I'm using a Les Paul with Tom Short's Mark Ford Humbuckers (low output). |

Requires Expansion Pack: Yes Artist: Jeff Loomis & Marty Friedman Comments: Was trying to dial up a Petrucci lead sound and kept tweaking trying to get something that sounded better and thought this was cool. Couldn't figure out who it sounded like until I listened to Miles of Machines and realized this was a pretty close Loomis/Friedman type lead tone. It's really good with the right pickups. I dialed it on a Schecter Diamond Gryphon but it really sounded great with a Peavey Wolfgang. |
