Eclipse Pickup Position: Bridge Pickup Type: Humbucker Requires Expansion Pack: Yes Artist: Opeth Author: Tapiiri_Fakiiri Comments: This is what I use with my Eclipse (mahogany body/neck, EMG 81/60, standard d tune with 11/48 strings) It has sort of Blackwater Park kind of wibe in it. I boost my solos with my trusty old Vintage Tube Monster by Behringer, which is cheap but quite good, so I haven't set up solo boost into patch. I tried this patch with my custom made guitar (Mahogany, neck-thru, SD Blackouts, Standard d with 11/48 strings) and Fender Strat (alder body, SD pearly gates with coil split in bridge and standard E tune with 10/46 strings) and I really had to cut down the bass from 10 to 5. Seems like EMG's just sound thin. Anyway, patch sounds nice through my Samson SR950 headphones and ESI nEar 05 monitors. This patch is not tested in mix yet. Enjoy!
