Comments: Guitar Used: Schecter Blackjack with Active Blackout pickups Tips on using this preset: - The noisegate: I left the noisegate off, you might like it without the hiss but it sounds mighty different with it on! (When playing you don't notice it anyway) - Use 2 knobs in the beginning: the overdrive (preamp) and the overdrive (master)! Turn the master almost to 0 and turn the pre amp all the way up ... turn the pre amp almost to 0 and turn the master all the way up. Try to get an even blend of the 2! This is what worked nice with my guitar! (This thing has a LOT of gain) - The para EQ in front of the amp is so my pickups sound different ... you might like it off. - Switching the mod switch to normal adds fizz but gives it that real punchy character Enjoy ;-) |

Things I changed: - Delay and reverb: kinda over the top but if you like it a bit more tame try the delay of the rythm preset. (tap in your tempo!) - Obviously I turned the noisegate on because fizz and soloing don't match. It's up really high since my guitar kicks out a TON of output! - A bit more preamp and some more master . On my guitar this is more than enough gain ... Enjoy ;-) |
