Requires Expansion Pack: Yes Artist: Cacophony (Becker/Friedman) Comments: Jason Becker/Marty Friedman's "Go Off!" rhythm tone almost to the "T" (try playing Black Cat with this it works GREAT). You can pull off the leads with this too, so it's not just a rhythm preset but the leads on the album used different amps and more way more effects. I like this for leads nonetheless because it does sound a lot like Jason Becker's clinic videos. Dialed with Duncan Distortion Bridge. |

Requires Expansion Pack: Yes Artist: James Hetfield Comments: I noticed the Treadplate Red sound was more like the Quad Preamp that I used to have (which was used on Metallica albums). So I dialed around close as I could get and then swapped to the M2 Lead amp, put a large amount of compression into a wah going into a green OD into the amp. Point being to find ways to recreate the preamp sound. It has a lot of the high end I tried to get out of the real preamp. I played it over a Metallica track and it's pretty killer within a mix actually. Might be a good cover tune preset for Metallica. |
