Requires Expansion Pack: No Artist: Joe Satriani Comments: Here's my stab at Joe Satriani's "Midnight" clean tone. Depending on your neck pickup, you'll need to add or kill some high end as well as compression. It sounds great with the DiMarzio Liquifire pickups in my guitar. I really like the amp used here because you can get a really ultra clean tone with just enough spank and sparkle to it for the teo handed tapping technique used here. The only thing that wasn't quite as cool is the chorus in the 11R -vs- the chorus used on the original track, but hey what can you do? Enjoy! |
